When the new generation of Russians tends to spend more and more time online, the fashion designers jump into an opportunity to attract new customers.
According to Vedomosti business daily newspaper, one of the top young Russian fashion designers Denis Simachev agreed to design virtual clothes for characters of a new massive multiplayer online role play game W.E.L.L. Online. The designer plans to receive a revenue share from selling clothes. This is likely the first case when a top designer gets involved into a virtual world.
Denis Simachev is known for mixing concepts of Soviets and modern Russia to create a provocative and sexy clothing for both men and women. See below his men’s collection for fall-winter 07-08.
