Several new massive multiplayer online role play games (MMORPG) to be launched in Russia in 2008.
 Oradell Capital, a venture capital fund of private shareholders of IBS Group made an investment in VR Ocean, a holding company for a new multiplayer, browser-based, online game LAVA-Online. According to Vedomosti business daily Oradell invested $1.5 million in VR Ocean.
The other owner of VR Online is the U.S.-Russian software development company EnterNetica.
LAVA-Online is scheduled to be released in February 2008.
The other multiplayer games that are being developed include W.E.L.L. Online from Sibilant Interactive and Allods Online from Nival Online.
