Picked by Style.com’s editors as one of the most promising up and coming designers, Alexander Terekhov presents his fall 2008 women’s collection at the Fashion Week in New York today. The other young Russian fashion designer Denis Simachev conquered the Fashion Week in Milan last month.
The fashion of Alexander Terekhov is simple and feminine. He studied in the Institute of Fashion and Design in Moscow and was trained at Yves Saint Laurent fashion house. Terekhov parlayed his couture training to upstart his own label, Terexov. He resides in Moscow and is a sought after to design dresses for international socialites and high profile Russian celebrities.
His first boutique was opened in Moscow last November.

Terexov spring 2008 collection shined with chemises and evening shirt dresses. Its ankle strapped stilettos and shiny clutches carried out a “less-is-more” style. It’s sort of a fusion between John Rocha and Vera Wong.
