The interactive search cloud on Quintura для Детей has graphics embedded next to popular search terms to make it easier to navigate the Internet. The search results are powered by the Quintura visual -based search engine.
The search engine can be easily embedded onto any web or blog page by clicking the Embed it! link (the image of “sun”) in the top-right corner of the screen and copying & pasting an embed code onto the page.
Quintura for Kids is being used mostly in the elementary schools and public libraries in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Since its first launch in March 2007, several hundred school and teacher web-sites linked to Quintura for Kids.
According to site statistics, the search engine has 70 percent returning visitors. 75 percent of visitors come to the site directly.
In June 2007, Quintura for Kids was ranked the highest among search engines for kids by Search Engine Watch. The kids search engines were ranked in five categories including a visual appeal to a child; relevance to a child, based on chosen searches; commercial vs. educational, with the educational slant creating a higher score; and ease of navigation for 7-10 year olds.
