ngenix-logo.png When the Russian internet population approaches 40 million monthly users and rich media services become very popular, the market certainly needs its own content delivery network (CDN) to optimize performance such as load speed, etc. of online services. The CDN potential customers include media publishers, software distributors and multimedia content providers. To meet the increasing demand, Russia’s first nationwide NGENIX Content Delivery Network has launched its operations. The network has points of presence in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok.

The global CDN service market is valued at $1 billion. The major players are Akamai, CDNetworks and Limelight Networks.
