 Being the largest Russian internet company with more than $300 million revenues in 2008, Yandex can certainly enjoy its momentum.
Arkady Volozh, CEO of Yandex believes that the Yandex secret sauce of its domination over Google in Russia is in its local roots. He told Fortune Magazine about Yandex that “We can joke in Russian, which Google can’t do”.
