 The leading Russian internet investor, Digital Sky Technologies (DST) has invested an undisclosed amount in exchange for a 25.1 percent stake in Sape.ru, a link exchange service, reported business newspaper Vedomosti. According to the newspaper, DST acquired the stake in January 2008.
Founded in 2006, Sape.ru has over 180,000 users and 196,000 web-sites in its network. Its competitors include XAP.ru with over 85,000 users, MailLink.ru with over 33,000 users and 87,000 web-sites as well as LinkFeed.ru with over 26,000 users and 31,000 web-sites.
