The global digital marketing company iCrossing has expanded its business in Russia by joining efforts with a top Russian digital marketing agency Ingate. The Russian online advertising market reached almost $600 million in 2008, of which 60 percent accounted for contextual advertising spending. The Russian SEO/SEM services market is valued at over $100 million per year.
Founded in 2000, Ingate employs 130 in offices in Moscow and Tula. The company offers paid search and SEO services as well as web-site development and support to more than 200 clients in Russia including Allianz Rosno, Peugeot, L’Oreal, Procter & Gamble, and Honda. Ingate has aslo developed a link exchange aggregation service Re-Actor.
In December 2008, Ingate became the first Russian company that joined SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization).
Founded in 1998, iCrossing is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA and employs 550 in 12 offices in the US and Europe. In July 2007, iCrossing received $62 million from Goldman, Sachs & Co. and existing investors Oak Investment Partners, RRE Ventures and StarVest Partners, to fuel acquisition and organic growth strategy. In April 2008, iCrossing acquired the German digital marketing agency 3GNet.
