The Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (Rusnano) has agreed to invest up to $250 million in EuroTech Transfer Fund with UniCredit Group, announced Rusnano. UniCredit Group will advise the fund in seeking leading technology companies in Western Europe and evaluating their investment potential.
EuroTech Transfer Fund, which will target a total size of $500 million, will be managed by Fleming Family & Partners (FFP). The fund will seek to invest for blocking minority stakes in European technology companies in pre-mass or mass production stage that wish to set up a production in Russia.
Rusnano recently invested into Plastic Logic to set up its production facility for plastic electronics displays in Russia.
