Google has awarded its first “elite” Chromium Security Reward of $3,133.7 to Sergey Glazunov from Russia for finding a critical bug such as “stale pointer in speech handling” in Chrome browser. This bug and other ones were fixed in a recent of Chrome.
Over the past year Sergey Glazunov has collected a total of almost $20,000 in many rewards for finding bugs in Chrome, according to the for the Chromium Projects. Google launched its Chromium Security Reward program in January 2010.
