Moscow and Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund, Almaz Capital Russia Fund I has made an investment in Acumatica, a web-based accounting, ERP and CRM software vendor, the company announced on its web-site. Trivon Group, which operates Virgin Connect in Russia, has acquired MediaSeti, wireless broadband telecom operator of UnitLine network in Russia, from the telecom group Effortel, reported Vedomosti.ru. According the newspaper, the deal is valued at about 250 million Rubles ($8 million).

Technorati’s homepage has also changed. It’s easier to read.
