Leading European provider of cinema information and e-commerce services AlloCine has acquired a stake in the most-visited Russian cinema information site and search engine, KinoPoisk.ru. Moscow and Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund, Almaz Capital Russia Fund I has made an investment in Acumatica, a web-based accounting, ERP and CRM software vendor, the company announced on its web-site. The alternative search engines held only 1.3 percent share of searches in Russia in August 2009, reported Vedomosti by citing data from comScore. Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) will set up a $1 billion international nanotechnology investment fund, according to its corporate web-site.
